Nonlinear forced oscillations of a vertical continuous rotor with distributed mass are discussed. The restoring force of the rotor has geometric stiffening nonlinearity due to the extension of the rotor center line. The possibility of the occurrence of nonlinear forced oscillations at various subcritical speeds and the shapes of resonance curves at the major critical speeds and at some subcritical speeds are investigated theoretically. Consequently, the following is clarified: (a) the shape of resonance curves at the major critical speed becomes a hard spring type, and (b) among various kinds of nonlinear forced oscillations, only some special kinds of combination resonances have possibility of occurrence. 相似文献

We present an effective approach for modelling compositional data with large concentrations of zeros and several levels of variation, applied to a database of elemental compositions of forensic glass of various use types. The procedure consists of the following: (i) partitioning the data set in subsets characterised by the same pattern of presence/absence of chemical elements and (ii) fitting a Bayesian hierarchical model to the transformed compositions in each data subset. We derive expressions for the posterior predictive probability that newly observed fragments of glass are of a certain use type and for computing the evidential value of glass fragments relating to two competing propositions about their source. Distance weighted discrimination (DWD) was originally proposed to handle the data piling issue in the support vector machine. In this article, we consider the sparse penalized DWD for high-dimensional classification. The state-of-the-art algorithm for solving the standard DWD is based on second-order cone programming, however such an algorithm does not work well for the sparse penalized DWD with high-dimensional data. To overcome the challenging computation difficulty, we develop a very efficient algorithm to compute the solution path of the sparse DWD at a given fine grid of regularization parameters. We implement the algorithm in a publicly available R package sdwd. 为合理评估薄壁圆钢管构件的地震损伤程度,基于Park-Ang地震损伤模型,通过修正相关参数,建立了适用于圆钢管构件的地震损伤模型。利用圆钢管构件在低周反复荷载作用下的骨架曲线,给出了损伤模型中各待定参数的计算方法,在此基础上通过反演构件破坏点损伤因子为1.0时的模型组合系数,并利用曲线拟合法得到模型组合系数与构件轴压比、长细比和径厚比等参数间的关系式,从而建立构件的地震损伤评估模型。结果表明,修正的Park-Ang损伤模型可较好地评估圆钢管构件的损伤程度,构件达到极限破坏时的损伤因子值收敛于1.0且离散性较小,构件的破坏程度可划分为基本完好、轻微与中等破坏、严重破坏和失效破坏,对应的损伤因子界限值分别为0.02,0.41和1.00。 相似文献

The mine ventilation system is most important and technical measure for ensuring safety production in mines. The structural complexity of a mine ventilation network can directly affect the safety and reliability of the underground mining system. Quantitatively justifying the degree of complexity can contribute to providing a deeper understanding of the essential characteristics of a network. However, so far, there is no such a model which is able to simply, practically, reasonably, and quantitatively determine or compare the structural complexity of different ventilation networks. In this article, by analyzing some typical parameters of a mine ventilation network, we conclude that there is a linear functional relationship among five key parameters (number of ventilation network branches, number of nodes, number of independent circuits, number of independent paths, and number of diagonal branches). Correlation analyses for the main parameters of ventilation networks are conducted based on SPSS. Based on these findings, a new evaluation model for the structural complexity of ventilation network (which is represented by C) has been proposed. By combining SPSS classification analyses results with the characteristics of mine ventilation networks, standards for the complexity classification of mine ventilation systems are put forward. Using the developed model, we carried out analyses and comparisons for the structural complexity of ventilation networks for typical mines.
